01Which Apple devices are supported?

immichSlides runs on iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV. It is built for slideshow playback, not photo management.

Best for living room TVs, iPads on a desk, and spare phones.
02Do I need my own Immich server?

Yes. immichSlides is made for people who already run Immich or are comfortable setting it up. It does not include photo hosting or a hosted Immich service.

No Immich server usually means this is not the right app.
03How do I connect it to Immich?

In the app, enter your Immich server URL and API Key. Once the connection test passes, immichSlides can read photos for slideshow playback.

This website never asks for your server URL or API Key.
04Can I use it as a digital photo frame?

Yes. Use Apple TV, iPad, or iPhone as the display, connected to your Immich library.

It is a playback app, not a photo manager.
05Does it upload or change my photos?

No. Photos are read from your own Immich server for playback. immichSlides does not upload, host, back up, delete, edit, or share photos.

Your Immich server remains the source of your photos.
06Is it the official Immich app?

No. immichSlides is an independent app for showing photos from Immich. It is not the official Immich app or a full Immich client.
